    Information

    As a leader in Online Tournaments, the SCJFL is proud to be offering this exciting tournament! We look forward to seeing you online!

    ONLINE

    Events:
    Lincoln-Douglas Debate: (2021 Jan/Febt topic) Resolved: States ought to ban lethal autonomous weapons.
    Public Forum Debate: (2021 February topic) Resolved: On balance, the benefits of urbanization in West Africa outweigh the harms.
    Congress: Please check back for bills posted on this site.  Legislation will be available under Documents.

    Judging Requirements:
    Judging names and cell phone numbers should be submitted at the time of registration.

    Postings and Registration:
    ONLINE by email.

    Rules:
    All rules can be found in the SCJFL by-laws at SCJFL.org.

    ​Entry Price

    One debate event and parent is judging $60
    One debate event and parent is NOT judging $130

    Each person in a PF team would be responsible of providing their own judge, so one PF team would need to either provide two judges, both pay the judge fee, or one of each option.

    Registration will not be complete until payment is received.
     
    NOTE: We will charge set up fees if we have to create tabroom.com accounts for judges. It is recommended you do so on your own.

    10:00-11:30am Debate Round 2

    1:30-3:00pm Debate Round 4
    3:30-5:00pm Debate Round 5
    5:30-6:30pm Debate Round 6
    7:00pm Awards - Online

    Pattern B - Congress
    9:00-10:30am Round 1
    10:30am-12:00pm Round 2
    12:30-2:00pm Round 3
    2:30-4:00pm Finals (If Necessary)
    7:00pm Awards - Online

    Drop Fee

    Changes or drops after February 22nd will be charged a $10 nuisance fee. Drop requests should be made to Victor and Nadia.

    Please do not drop out last minute to avoid being charged these fees.
