Jennifer Brooks
Jennifer has been actively involved in speech and debate for over ten years. As one of the most successful expository speakers on the nationally-acclaimed James Logan High School Forensics Team, she has won numerous accolades throughout her competitive career, most notably winning 1st place at the California High School State Championship.
But the one thing Jennifer enjoys more than competing is helping others succeed. Following her successful career, Jennifer found immense joy in coaching her former teammates, many of whom went on to become state finalists and champions themselves. After graduating with an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley, Jennifer continued to teach public speaking at numerous Bay Area academies, including Olive Children Foundation, The Brooks Academy, and Young Genius. Her extensive experience coaching and mentoring students from elementary to high school is what makes her one of the most versatile instructors in this activity. Jennifer will be teaching the Elementary classes on Saturdays at all three of our locations. She will also be our elementary school coordinator for BASIS Fremont where we run an elementary school after school program. |
