Friday Practice Sign Ups
*Read Carefully*
We will now offer Friday practice sessions at alternating locations each week (between Warm Springs, Cupertino, and Aborn). The classes are broken down into the following categories:
Practice Debates:
If you are ready to debate, please sign up for any of the time slots that are available on the excel sheet. You may either coordinate with a friend to debate with or sign up for a random time slot and wait for someone else to also register for that same time slot. Each debate session is an hour and a half long.
Speech:
Speech sessions will now be more individualized. Each available session will be 1 hour long with a single coach. If you participate in duo, you must coordinate with your partner before registering.

After Instructions:
Clicking the buttons below will bring you to a Google Excel Sheet with available time slots for both speech and debate. Please do not accidentally erase another student's entry since anyone may edit the document (this is a google doc and we can see who filled out the form and when). Also, if you are in an event that has a partner or wish to debate someone in particular, please try to coordinate with them so that you may sign up for the same time slot.
Sign ups for Sunday classes will be closed every Wednesday at 10:00 PM. Each student is allowed to pick two time slots: one in debate and one in speech. If you are taking speech or debate only you can only take one slot initially. After the 10:00 PM deadline, we will notify those who had already signed up for a time slot that if they want to sign up for another time slot, that they are now welcome to do so. Lincoln Douglas practice rounds will not run if there are less than two students (at that point the session will become a workshop with the students who signed up for that time slot so please make sure you have a secondary item for debate to work on). Public Forum practice debates will not run if there are less than two teams (both partners of each team have to sign up on time. If not, the same situation as in LD would apply). If possible, please include an opponent's name if you know they have registered. If you sign up, PLEASE ATTEND YOUR SESSION ON TIME. Failure to show up on time means you get less time (we won't be accommodating your complete session at the expense of others who show up on time). If you cannot make it to class, you must email us! We wish to avoid over-staffing. On the other hand, if he/she does not sign up in time, he/she will NOT be registered.
WARNING: If a student shows up without an ON TIME sign up, there is a possibility that there will not be enough staff on hand to work with that student.
Please do not sign up if you are not absolutely sure you can make it. Constant cancellations by the same individuals may result in you not being able to use our Sunday practice facilities.
