In conjunction with the HMDC Forensics Team, Concordia University Irvine's Forensics Team is pleased to welcome you to the third tournament in the Concordia Public Forum Series! The tournament will be held online on Saturday, January 20th, 2024

This tournament is entirely free!

Four rounds of Public Forum debate will be offered for debaters in High School, Middle School, and Elementary School divisions. Teams winning at least 3 debates will receive Superior certificates, teams earning 2 wins will receive Excellence certificates. Additionally, the top 5 speakers in each division will receive an award.

Teams will debate the February 2024 topic: Resolved: The United States federal government should ban single use plastics.

Entry Price

This tournament is free and no judge is required, but please make sure you are certain that you can attend before registering.

Drop Fee

All changes or student drops after the deadline will be charged a $20 nuisance fee for each change or drop. Judge drops after the registration deadline will be charged a $150 no-show fee.

Please do not drop out last minute to avoid being charged these fees.
